Intec signs partnership deal with Indra, Spain

• Indra to offer full Intec portfolio to Spanish-speaking markets worldwide

London, 23 July, 2002: Intec Telecom Systems, a global provider of Operations Support Systems (OSS) for fixed, wireless, and IP/next generation networks, has signed a partnership agreement with Indra, the leading Spanish information technologies company in Spain. As part of the contract Indra will offer and integrate Intec's entire product portfolio to its customers worldwide, including Intec's InterconnecT™, Inter-mediatE™, and revenue assurance solutions. InterconnecT is the world's best selling intercarrier billing solution, with nearly 40% market share, enabling operators to charge other operators for using their networks. Inter-mediatE is a global leader in real-time convergent mediation, providing data gathering, processing and distribution capabilities for fixed, wireless and next generation networks.

Indra's information telecommunications division has grown by 28% this year alone and represents 80% of the company's revenues. Indra's strategic projects in this business area highlight the diversity that Intec's solutions will need to support. They include the creation of Indra Beijing IT Systems and Indra CPC , which will help consolidate Indra's presence in the Chinese and Portuguese markets.
