Logica and Intec Telecom Systems launch multi million dollar interconnect billing systems at Far EasTone

London - 18th June 2001: Logica and Intec Telecom Systems PLC (ITL:L) today announced the successful live operation of their first major intercarrier settlements system in Taiwan. The system was implemented for one of the leading Taiwanese mobile telecommunications operators, Far EasTone.

Handling daily traffic of five to ten million call detail records (CDRs), the project is one of the biggest of its kind in Asia Pacific for the joint Logica/Intec Telecom Systems team.
