Worldwide InterconnecT agreement with France Telecom opens doors for Intec at over 100 affiliated carriers

• France Telecom, an InterconnecT user for over 2 years, signs Master Commercial Agreement with Intec Telecom Systems – facilitating swift progress towards implementation for France Telecom’s 100+ affiliates

5th November 1999 Paris - Intec Telecom Systems, the world leader in inter-carrier interconnect billing solutions, has signed a Master Commercial Agreement with France Telecom.

The agreement means that Intec Telecom Systems’ InterconnecT™ inter-carrier billing solution will be promoted by France Telecom to its 100+ affiliates worldwide. For the affiliates the agreement is a stamp of approval on InterconnecT as a solution and means that they can purchase InterconnecT on pre-agreed contractual terms and discounted rates - and swiftly proceed with implementation.

Running a professional solution will help the companies generate a strong revenue stream from the rapid growth in interconnect traffic and the agreement also demonstrates the convenience to telecoms companies of their main partner carriers running the same interconnect solution. By selecting InterconnecT, France Telecom and its affiliates will benefit from speed and efficiency in their invoicing and settlement processes.

France Telecom is the 3rd largest telecommunications operator in Europe (after Deutsche Telekom and BT) and 8th largest in the world. It has itself been a user of InterconnecT since May 1997.

Under the agreement Intec Telecom Systems will also provide training licences for France Telecom’s Competence Centre staff, allowing the company to deliver installation, user training and support services to affiliates introducing InterconnecT.
