Over 8 years in the telecommunications software industry, working for the competition, watching Intec go from success to success, executing well and consistently against big plans, I decided I wanted to join them. Intec were clearly on track to be a successful consolidator in the OSS/BSS space – and we are. My career path so far with Intec has been exhilarating – ranging from specialisations in technical/product domains, exposure to product management and taking responsibility for people management. My current role involves managing a team of highly experienced pre-sales Applications Consultants and working with sales, pre-sales and professional services resources in locations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The environment is busy and hectic, and my colleagues hard-working, light-hearted, enthusiastic people with a ‘can do’ attitude, which I really like. The opportunities for travel are amazing – in the space of the last 12 months, I’ve been to Kenya, Morocco, Latvia, Sweden, Israel, Spain, France, and I really value this interaction with other cultures. Our community is results orientated, proactive and innovative, and takes my on-going development seriously.
