Solutions Architect - Professional Services

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for coherency and delivery of entire solution and product line.
• Lead multiple solutions across the business.
• Develop the overall solution architecture and design in conjunction with other architects, partners and systems integrators.
• Develop and refine estimates to define the time, cost and quality constraints of the project and then lead the development team to ensure the technical integrity of the solution within these constraints.
• Key influence on senior and executive leadership concerning product delivery and product strategy.
• Accountable for success of solution and acceptance by customers
•  Performance analysis and tuning of database and software components of the system.
• Liaising with R&D Performance and Development teams to ensure performance changes or issues found are implemented in configuration releases or core product where applicable
• Ensuring that the software delivered complies with the PS quality assurance (QA) processes.
• Liaising with PS implementation teams to implement performance enhancements and provide feedback/input on how to avoid issues on configuration.
• Provide input to implementation teams on estimation for or requirements for testing activities
• Providing support to customers on issues encountered.
• Develop/enhance tools.
• Benchmark solutions.
• Provide technical input/feedback to R&D on product direction.
• Works on extremely complex problems that impact the design success of current products/projects or addresses broad design issues of future products or technologies
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• Provide technical leadership and acts as a mentor to develop internal Intec Singl.eView technical resources. Lead cross-functional teams and teams across the organization.
  

Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Software, Telecommunications) or Business (with major in Computing)
• Minimum 8 years in a senior software development/architect experience in a consulting environment
• Expert knowledge in overall BSS and OSS solutions and enterprise architecture
• Expert knowledge of different platforms and advanced knowledge of technical principles and business systems
• Expert level of analytical problem solving skills to identify and diagnose problems beyond current boundaries and require highly complex methods or theories.
• Expert level understanding and anticipation of the business's technological needs and an in-depth understanding of the Singl.eView product as well as the Intec OSS products.
• Advanced team leadership and project management skills.
• Highly developed communication skills to give, understand and clarify instructions and to influence, gain co-operation and acceptance of ideas with team members and customers.
• Experience with UNIX, Oracle, Perl, advanced SQL and Windows environment.
• Experience in XML technologies and UML
• Telecommunications industry experience is necessary and related product knowledge preferred
